-Lunch at a Top 10 Hotel-Gourmet Lunch
-Old fashioned gas station stop
-A blend of twisties and valley
NEW Tour! This is a wonderful full-day tour to a stunning destination that only an Americade tour could provide: You'll spend the morning riding through scenic farmland and rolling hills on gently winding roads towards Vermont's Green Mountains. In Vermont, your route will follow smooth roads along meandering river valleys, passing quaint villages with white steeples, until you reach your morning stop. You're going to love it, and you'll think you've entered a time machine: It's a classic 50's gas station, with vintage cars and motorcycles and gas attendants in white shirts and pants.
Lunch will be at one of our finest destinations ever! It's a hidden gem that is opening up special for this Americade tour. It's a grand mansion hotel, voted one of the Top 10 in the U.S.! It sits atop a mountain on 30 private acres, with dramatic mountain views, and you'll feel like royalty as their guest. It was once a home for diplomats, then owned by a major movie studio as a home-away-from-home for their stars. It's THAT amazing.
This is the type of tour that would typically cost much(!) more if offered by motorcycle tour companies. It will knock your socks off.
Menu includes: Vermont Chicken Breast with Citrus Champagne Sauce and Petrograd Beef Stroganoff
WHAT IS A GUIDED TOUR? (psst, it's your best bet to a great day of riding.)
Americade Guided Tours are group rides, with at least two tour guides, and are based on what we love about riding (great Scenery, excellent and smooth roads, low traffic and interesting stops). And, we find excellent lunch stops, and negotiate great food prices for you. They are an Americade specialty and allow you to relax & ride, while our friendly guides lead you to the destination where a great lunch awaits you. Our guides provide some commentary via CB. Don't worry about maps, traffic, getting lost, breakdowns or finding a great lunch spot - We've got you covered.
Your day will begin by meeting your guide in the morning on the shores of Lake George, "The Queen of American Lakes" (according to Thomas Jefferson) surrounded by the Adirondack Mountains. We're confident that there is no prettier place to begin a ride. Once you meet your guides, your group will head out at a relaxed pace with your guides leading and following the group. Stops will take place at about an hour into the ride, and after lunch. During the ride, feel free to ask your guides questions, via CB radio.
So, if you're coming all the way up to the Adirondacks, why not guarantee yourself a great day of riding?
