With the average age of motocyclists reaching closer to 50 years old, plus more studies showing a connection with age, crashes and injuries; a review of the information about precautions we as riders can do now is the first step to future rides with reduced risk factors.

Don Gomo is the Safety Editor for American Iron Magazine since 2006 and is a contributing writer for several other publications. He is also a MSF Rider Coach with the New York State Motorcycle Safety Program and has over 40 years of riding experience. Don has received several regional and national awards for his commitment to motorcycle safety and awareness.
