On The Road

Americade offers more activities than any other motorcycle rally, including many, many “On The Road” (on your motorcycle) and “Off The Bike” events.  The most popular “On the Road” activities include MiniTours, Demo Rides and Poker Runs.  

MiniTours
We offer different MiniTour formats; Guided, Un-Guided and Self Guided.  Guided tours feature experienced guides leading you along some of the most scenic and motorcycle-friendly roads in the country, providing commentary along the way, to a great lunch destination where a delicious catered lunch awaits.  Sponsors award hundreds of dollars of prizes each lunch, giving you an excellent opportunity to win great motorcycling goodies.  Un-Guided tours allow you to leave when you want from where you want, on your own.  Americade supplies the detailed map to be sure you arrive at the lunch destination in time for the feast.  Explore the Adirondacks on these fantastic routes at your own pace.

Demo Rides
Americade attracts more factory demos than perhaps any other event in the U.S.!  All the best in the industry come with their latest models for you to check out and ride!  Sign up early to secure the ride you want (they fill up fast, and a wrist band is required in the morning).  

Poker Runs
Americade’s famous Poker Run is extremely popular, and takes you on a gorgeous, meandering ride through the Adirondacks.  You’ll stop at scenic areas where you’ll build your poker hand.  At the end of the day, the best hands (and the worst hand) wins prizes that range from (expensive) GPS units, helmets, jackets and more!  Best of all, our Poker Runs have raised tens of thousands of dollars for charity!
