Americade Completes Successful Management of Killington Classic

Americade Completes Successful Management of Killington Classic Vermont-based event experienced significant development over past 5 years.

Americade's 5 year management contract ended in 2015. The event now returns to the Town of Killington's management.

"6 years ago, the Town asked us to manage and redevelop the Killington Classic," says Christian Dutcher, Americade's Director, "and over the past 5 years, we made substantial changes, resulting in increased attendance, greater industry participation, and the addition of factory demos. A new event HQ was created, additional riding events and entertainment was provided, and the duration of attendee's visits increased. I'm pleased with the event's growth, and perhaps more importantly, the fan base the event developed. I'm looking forward to seeing it continue to grow under the Town's stewardship over the coming years."

Dutcher continued, "I'd like to thank the Killington Classic volunteers, the Town of Killington, The Foundry, the Rutland Chamber, and the event's many other partners, for their enormous help over the past 5 years. In particular, I'd like to thank Seth Webb, the Town's Manager, for all his help and insight."
