Paradox Brewery is a certified Veteran owned, independent craft brewery founded in the heart of the Adirondack Mountains brewing innovative beer of the highest quality.
Their roots trace 40 years back to when the president and founder, Paul Mrocka, fell in love with beer and brewing in Germany while stationed as an army pilot.
After a few decades of brewing for friends and family, Paul’s beer became fairly well known in and around Paradox Lake. Those lucky enough to know where on the lake to go, could get in their boats and go grab a beer with Paul. At this time, he was was brewing 200 gallons per year in order to keep up with the demand for his tasty (and free) lake beer.
The foundation of the beer is within the water they use which can only be found in the granite 600 feet below the Adirondack Park. Water that is so pure, it needs no filtering or treatment before brewing it with the best malts and hops they can find. Those ingredients combined with their passion for great beer results in “Pure Adirondack.”

Burleigh’s Luncheonette is a long-standing establishment in Ticonderoga, NY with roots that date to the 1920’s. This once Rexall pharmacy offered common goods, prescriptions, and a lunch counter. Outdoor seating is available to relax and view the stunning landscapes and wildlife. Springbrook has been a source of water for centuries. The original wooden pipelines that delivered the precious water to the farmers are on display in our tasting room. This clean, unprocessed water gives our spirits a unique flavor that cannot be replicated. We distill our bourbon in a custom-made copper pot still, one batch at a time. We label, bottle, and age our products in a renovated horse barn. All our spirits are handmade, rich and full-bodied.
